HANUKKAH: CARING LIGHT is a special collection created for The Rogatchi Foundation international art charitable initiative in support of the people massively affected by the October 7th, 2023 massacre in Israel: hostages, their families, orphans, wounded, people who lost their homes, medical, archeological and any other personnel and volunteers who were involved in the long and painful process of ongoing identification of the victims of the massacre, and the others. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The collection was created by Inna Rogatchi with an idea to bring more light into current ongoing darkness which did not disappear after the massacre, as this kind of assault on humanity has a long-lasting traumatic effect. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The artist\u2019s thinking and intention was specifically to focus on the lights which are caring: warming up, soothing, providing consolation and comfort, all of which is badly needed by anyone affected by the massacre in Israel committed against innocent people. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Artistic approach of this collection is metaphorical and modern, often abstract, as it provides a room for everyone\u2019s own thinking and perception while delivering the essence of the idea of a healing nature of light which is true both literally and metaphorically. Light and its revitalising quality is also a fundamental pillar of civility based on humanistic values, and is a simple yet powerful element which is a beacon of natural human instinct for all those human beings whose souls are striving for life and kindness, against its opposites.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
