Inna Rogatchi’s The New Dutch School series of modern still-life works has entered the LensCulture Critics’ Choice Award 2021.
The LensCulture Critic Choice 2021 Award is one of the top international events in the field of photography. Inna Rogatchi’s series participate in the fine art photography category.
In her new series, Inna Rogatchi examines a new ways of expression, by combining the two major streams of art tradition: contemporary art’s approach in its dynamic, edge-feeling and boldness of the statement with classic art tradition in shadow-light resolution, its grouping of subjects in still-life works and its subject matter.
The artist motivation behind creation of the series of modern still-life works is also to imagine ordinary subjects of a daily life through the lens of art.

In her The New dutch School series, the artist is also interested to examine various interactions: between different forms, between a form and a colour, between different materials, between different forms of life: organic and non-organic, between a subject and a surface, all that in a way of modern symbolism and by creating poetic metaphors.
